على أي أساس نصنف أن الملصق "عربي"؟
يتم تصنيف الملصق بأنه عربي إستناداً على ٣ عناصر: أصل المصمم وموضوع الملصق أو العميل. بالتالي فإن أياً من هذه العناصر يجب أن تكون عربية. نحن نرحب بالهوية العربية صاحبة اللغات المتعددة والخلفيات الثقافية المختلفة للمصممين والمواضيع المتنوعة طالما أنها في إطار عربي
What do you mean by an "Arabic" poster?
An “Arabic" Poster is defined by 3 variables: The designer, the language used and the purpose/client of the poster, therefore, any of these variables should be Arabic. We are looking to embrace the multi-lingual diverse identity of the Arabic region, the different cultural backgrounds of designers and the diversity of subjects in discourse.

أنا لست عربيا، ولكني صممت تصميمات عربية، هل يمكنني المشاركة في هذه المسابقة؟
نعم، نحن نرحب بكافة المشاركات المختلفة في هذه المسابقة. يستطيع أي شخص المشاركة كمصمم غير عربي طالما كان العميل أو الموضوع عربي
I am not an Arab, but I produced an Arab design, can I participate in this competition?
Yes, we welcome everyone to participate in this competition. Anyone can participate as a non-Arab designer if the client or the topic of the poster is Arabic.

هل يجب أن يكون الملصق باللغة العربية؟
لا, ليس من الضروري. نحن نريد الاحتفال باللغة البصرية العربية التي ليست محددة فقط باللغة العربية ولكن أيضًا بثقافة المصمم البصرية والموضوع والعناصر المرئية داخل التصميم
Does the poster has to be in Arabic?
No, it is not a must. We are aiming at exploring the varities of the Arabic visual language which are defined not only by the Arabic language but also by the visual culture of the designer, the subject of the poster and many other variables.

هل يوجد حد أقصى لعدد الملصقات المشاركة من مصمم واحد؟
ليس هناك حد. يمكنك المشاركة بأي عدد تريده من أعمالك
Is there a limited number of poster submissions?
There is no limit. You can submit as many posters as you want.

هل يجب أن أرسل نسخة مطبوعة من ملصقي؟
لا، نحن نستقبل فقط المشاركات الرقمية من المصممين المشاركين
Do I have to print and send a hardcopy poster?
No, we only receive digital submissions from the participants.

هل يوجد أي مواضيع أو فئات محددة للملصق؟
:لا يوجد مواضيع معينة، ولكن لدينا ثلاث فئات للملصقات المشاركة
ا. ملصقات بتكلفة من العميل
: ملصقات صممت لأغراض تجارية أو اجتماعية أو ثقافية
ب. ملصقات مستقلة: ملصقات تجريبية صممت لأغراض متعددة
ج. ملصقات أكاديمية: الملصقات صممت تحت إشراف أكاديمي
Are there any categories or themes for the posters?
No, but we have three categories of poster entries:
A. Commissioned Posters: Posters that got produced for any commercial, social or cultural purposes.
B. Self-initiated Posters: Self-initiated posters produced for different purposes.
C. Academic Posters: Posters that got realized within the academical context and guidance.

ما هي أسباب إستبعاد أي ملصق عن المسابقة؟
:وفقاً لأربعة عناصر
ا. جوانب تقنية: ينبغي أن تكون أبعاد الملصق المذكورة في صفحة الدورة
ب. جوانب أخلاقية: أن لا يحتوي الملصق على محتوى مهين أو إنتهاك لمبادئ أخلاقية
ج. ليس ملصقاً: أن يكون التصميم المشارك هو لافتة، نشره إعلانية، مطبوعات فنية أو غيره لكن ليس ملصقاً
د. حقوق التأليف والنشر: أن يكون الملصق أو محتوى الملصق ليس مملوكاً أو ليس مصرحاً بإستخدامه لالمصمم المشارك
What makes a poster get disqualified from the competition?
According to 4 variables:
A. Technical aspects: To follow guidelines mentioned for submissions - Max file size 5 MB - 72dpi - Dimension: 2000px height.
B. Ethical aspects: No extreme harmful display of graphic material or harmful content.
C. Not a poster: The submission is a painting, banner, flyer, or even a cover photo instead of a poster.
D. Copyrights aspects: To have the poster or the poster content copied from a third party without any permission or not owned by the designer.

هل يمكنني إرسال ملصق متحرك؟
نعم، ولكن يجب أن يكون لديك نسخة مطبوعة من هذا الملصق المتحرك. يجب أن يتبع
ملصقك المتحرك أيضاً هذه الإرشادات حتى يتم قبوله في المسابقة
Max file size: 40 MB - Dimension: 1080x1528 px - Vertical format - 72 dpi - 5-10 sec - .mp4
Can I submit a moving poster?
Yes – but only if you have a print version of it – Your moving poster should also follow those guidelines in order for it to be accepted as a submission
